Who are the best Superflex players?Draw in Dynasty?

The Dynasty landscape is beginning to see a massive value shift, with a massive Free Agency class coming to market and a high-caliber Draft class coming soon. This affects designs and how managers balance their teams.

When in doubt, draw young. For example, look at players like Chris Olave and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Olave, my current WR10, has had a great season but there is still room for improvement and he has yet to come anywhere near his peak performance.

Olave hit 72 of his 119 goals for 1,042 yards, and the only thing holding him back was his four touchdowns as he finished with 13.2 PPR as a WR27 in points per game. However, with a 2.42, he ranked 10th in goals per route run, seventh in open rate, and 10th in yards per route run (YPRR).

He also had the fifth-highest air yard percentage at 38.65% and was #4 in deep targets at 29. Throw a path to 130+ targets, given Michael Thomas' situation, and Olave for me is a massive target of mine.

The same goes for St. Brown, someone I've championed since his freshman year at USC, how it feels. St. Brown recorded the eighth highest percentage of goals at 28.08% and finished 11th in points per game with 16.7 PPR and finished as the WR7 overall winner. He tied A.J. Brown with 146 goals and was one of only seven receivers to record over 100 receptions (106).

St. Brown rushed for 1,161 yards and six touchdowns and is easy in the first round of Dynasty 2023 mock drafts. St. Brown's per-goal upside potential should also increase with the improved health of Jameson Williams, who will set the defense apart, especially if the Lions make a change in QB this offseason.

Running Back is much more difficult to assess with full confidence as the value can go down if players struggle in Year 1. Still, players like Breece Hall (RB3), Javontae Williams (RB9), Kenneth Walker III (RB4) and Travis Etienne Jr. (RB6) are sensational RB1s with youth on their side. I would also feel just as comfortable playing J.K. Dobbins now on sale (RB18).

As for QBs, I recommend getting into Superflex Dynasty drafts early, as their value will never be cheaper than on draft day. As many have seen/experienced over the last season, not having two top league QBs will set you back drastically.

Prioritize players like Justin Fields (QB6), Trevor Lawrence (QB7) and even Deshaun Watson (QB10). I also think Kenny Pickett (QB15) is undervalued as people seem to want to find reasons not to believe he will be the Steelers' long-term solution. But the more youth and upward trend you can add to your dynasty list, the more likely you'll be able to ride the ebb and flow of dynasty season.
